Basic Info
What software do you recommend?
We are not tied to any software provider, most of our clients use Xero, Sage, Quickbooks or Freeagent.
For somebody starting from scratch we usually lean in the direction of Xero for most businesses, but we are always flexible and will not force anybody to use software they are not comfortable with.
Can you train me to use accounting software?
Yes we can and we never charge for this. We see this as a mutual benefit, if you can do your bookkeeping correctly we can do your accounts more easily. If you don’t want to do your own bookkeeping our team can do it all for you.
How do I communicate with Sapphire Accountants?
You can call, email or Whatsapp us. You can also arrange a meeting which can be virtual (Zoom / Teams) or in person at one of our offices.
You will have a named point of contact with access to the rest of the team in their absence, so there should always be somebody on hand to help.
Do I need to be local?
No we have clients from the very North of England all the way down to the South Coast. Cloud software and digital communication technology makes it very easy to assist regardless of your location.

What does fixed price all-inclusive accountancy mean?
It means we agree a fixed price for the services you need, and that is exactly what you pay each month. If you need extra help, have extra questions, want to talk to us on the phone or come in for a meeting you will never pay any more.
How much does an initial consultation cost?
This is absolutely free, we will meet or talk with you as many times as you need.
How do I change from my existing accountant?
We will write to (or email) them with a standard professional clearance request, they will send us the information we need and we will take over from there.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes, the vast majority of our clients choose to pay a fixed monthly fee.
